About the shop

Bathrooms are all we do.

Not kitchens, not decks, not additions. One trade, done deep — in the town that once shipped its marble to half the country's landmarks.

The crew, mid-remodel — a Knoxville hall bath

The name's a nod to what this city used to be called. Knoxville was the Marble City — the pink Tennessee marble cut from quarries in South Knoxville ended up in the National Gallery of Art, Grand Central Station, and half the grand lobbies between here and Washington. Stone work, done carefully, in rooms built to last a century. That's a standard worth being named after.

We're a small local crew, and that's a decision, not a stage we're passing through. One bathroom at a time means the tile setter who starts your shower finishes it. It means the person who quoted your job is on site, not in a sales office. And it means when we say the schedule out loud, we're the ones who have to keep it.

How we work

  • The quote is the bill. Itemized after a real walkthrough, honored to the line. Anything unforeseen gets shown to you and signed before it's touched.
  • The schedule is a promise. Start date, finish date, in writing. If anything moves it, you hear it the day we know.
  • We finish completely. The last caulk line, the drawer that sticks — done before we walk the job with you, and we bill after the walkthrough, not before.

What we bring to a Knoxville bathroom

This housing stock is our home turf — the Victorian plumbing of Fort Sanders, mud-set floors in Sequoyah Hills, the five-foot alcoves of every ranch from Fountain City to Powell, the aging acrylic of Farragut's builder years. We quote with that history in mind, which is why our numbers hold.

We're licensed and insured, we pull the city's plumbing and electrical permits on every job that needs them, and we schedule the inspections ourselves. The flood test on every pan is non-negotiable. Grab-bar blocking goes into every shower wall we open, because it costs almost nothing at that moment and can't be added after.

Proof, the honest kind

Anyone can print a badge. What's harder to fake is tile that's still flat in year ten, a pan that's never leaked, and a homeowner who'd hand you our number. Reviews from recent projects are being gathered on this site — until then, we're glad to put you on the phone with a past customer. Just ask.

Talk to the crew that'll actually show up.
